We had one thing in mind while we were developing Easy Tipping: speed. Tip calculation needs to be a fast process, no one wants to spend half a minute fumbling around with their phone whilst the server waits awkwardly. Through extensive market research we deduced that most people tip 5%, 10%, 15% or 20%. We put these percentages at your fingertips so that you can calculate an accurate tip in a matter of seconds.
The majority of our apps UI has also been concentrated towards the top of the screen. This allows for easy one handed use, which again increases the speed at which you can calculate your tip.
